Sylvia Hysen, Partner, Creative DirectorCo-founder
of Hysen PR, Sylvia is a 25 year veteran of the entertainment industry. She began her career in the '80s as a production
assistant for Carson Productions where she honed her skills in production administration. Upon earning a BA in Radio,
TV and Film at California State University, Northridge, she worked as a producer/recording engineer for Access Audio,
a Sound Design & ADR studio located in Burbank, California. Continuing in promotions and marketing, Sylvia went on
to work for Paramount Studios as a marketing consultant and later, NBC Studios Talent Relations as an independent producer.
During her years with NBC, she collaborated on a variety of projects and special events for NBC 2000 including
"NBC's 75th Anniversary Special" and "The Zucker Follies", an unprecedented "mockumentary" produced
exclusively for the 2002 Upfronts. Seasoned in celebrity and show branding, Sylvia has worked with many notable
talents including the late Jerry Orbach, Jay Leno, Kelsey Grammer, Martin Sheen, David Spade, Megan Mullally, Jesse Martin,
and Allison Janney. She is an active member of the Entertainment Publicists Professional Society (EPPS). In addition to being a branding expert,
Sylvia is a published author of young adult fiction. Her debut novel, A Very Dairy Christmas, is an adaptation

Mark Hysen, Partner, Head of ProductionCo-founder of Hysen PR, Mark has been providing production logistics for the past fifteen years for major
film studios including Disney, Paramount, Warner Bros., NBC/Universal, and numerous independent commercial and
music video productions. Prior to his transition into the film business, he owned and operated Hollywood
Moving, a moving and storage company that catered to the studios and high profile talent. A
